Desde sus primeros retratos de corte hasta sus \u00faltimas etapas,\u00a070 retratos de Francisco de Goya se exponen en la National Gallery de Londres hasta el pr\u00f3ximo 10 de Enero.<\/p>\n

La exposici\u00f3n, comisariada por Xavier Bray explica que esta retrospectiva es una manera de viajar a lo largo de su vida a trav\u00e9s de lo que los recuadros nos cuentan sobre Goya, de hecho, en sus declaraciones hac\u00eda un simil como si se estuviera entrevistando a cada un o de los personajes.<\/p>\n

Goya: the portraits (Goya: Los retratos) parece como una de las colecciones m\u00e1s importants e interesnates que se conocen de la obra del pintor. La totalidad de su legado acumula al rededor de 150 obras, de las cuales 70 se van a dar cita en esta muestra. \u00a0Muchas de estas obras tienen su casa permanente en museos espa\u00f1oles que han cedido tales lienzos para la ocasi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Los retratos, entre ellos alg\u00fan autoretrato, permiten conocer no s\u00f3lo m\u00e1s cuestiones sobre los trazos del navarro, si no que tambi\u00e9n ha permitido conocer el grado de compromiso que Goya tomaba para cada obra. El pintor siempre se esforz\u00f3 por conocer a sus retratados, cuesti\u00f3n que le permit\u00eda ser m\u00e1s consciente de los peque\u00f1os detalles de cada personalidad para poder plasmar toda su esencia en el lienzo.<\/p>\n

De entre todas las obras destaca el retrato que Goya pint\u00f3 en 1797 para la Duquesa de Alba, el a\u00f1o posterior a la muerte del Duque. La Duquesa fue una de las grandes musas del pintor, por ello es uno de los cuadros m\u00e1s especiales y destacados de esta muestra.<\/p>\n
